Lunch at the beach is a real pleasure in Comporta in Portugal.

Praia do Carvalhal
Among the beach restaurants, we like those of Praia do Carvalhal: O Dinis and Pôr do Sol.
They are particularly well suited to families. Two small wooden cabins are available for children so they can have fun while parents enjoy their meal, a real luxury! Make sure you order a grilled “robalo” and their house mousse dessert for desert, it’s a a real delicacy.
Praia do Pego
The best known and ‘trendy’ dish is without a doubt the Sal. With a simple style, it is authentic and delicious. Fresh seafood is prepared with a great quality. The service is relaxed and effective, it feels like visiting friends.
Your time here will be unforgettable as you wait for the sunset.
Praia da Comporta
If you want to eat lunch in a hammock or have your feet in the sand, then go to Comporta Café. The chairs, sofas and hammocks on the beach are perfect for laying in the sun with a chilled glass of white wine in hand. The sand dunes and the colour of the sea make everything unforgettable. We recommend their signature dish, rice with cuttlefish and black clams. The grilled shrimp and sautéd clams are all also excellent.
Praia da Aberta Nova
As you stroll further south, you will find Aberta Nova beach, more private, and the small restaurant Bar Dos Tigres, their small snacks and fresh salads. Umbrellas are planted deep in the sand inviting you to stay for a swim or a nap on the beach.
Praia de Melides
Lagoa ó Mar is a very relaxed and kids friendly beach restaurant located on Melides beach between the ocean and the lagoon. The environment is incredible!
